PRESENT

Don and his family are residents of McCall, ID. McCall is a beautiful resort town awaiting boating, skiing. hiking, fishing...... and any other "sport/hobby" that may cross one's mind or just relaxing.
Don bought his first wooden boat "project" in 2000. During this project Don filled himself with the knowledge and art of "restoration" and a love for the "wooden boats". After the transformation of both boat and person, Don had a dream to open MBW. Don closed his construction business and opened MBW. The "fever" had gotten hold of him !!

This first "project" soon became customers' favorite. It is a 1959 17' Chris Craft Runabout Sportsman. This project was coated in fiberglass and was a complete restoration. This boat is now a gem of Payette Lake and is known as "Ta Ta". After SEVEN years on Redfish Lake and Payette Lake we are finally bringing her in this winter for re-varnishing. Don's methods are long lasting!
